Thinking of you on Mother's Day. Being a mother is a learning process. Oh my goodness, remember the first time you found out that you were going to be a mom? I sure do! I was excited, and scared because even though I could read about the experience, and learn about the experience from my friends, it just isn't the same until you go through it. Being a mom, is one of my greatest joys of life. I have enjoyed experiencing all of the milestones, watching and learning from our children. Being a mom also challenges us with loss, either losing a child to death, or loss of seeing them grow up because of circumstances, or the loss of not spending enough time with them. If you are a mom, or have ever experienced the joy that comes in being a mom, then you understand that all good things come in time. Relationships, learning, growing, and being who God intended us to be. Mother's Day is important, because mother's nurture and love like no other human being. "As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you." Isaiah 66:13
Not only this day, but everyday is special when you can share it with your children.
As a mother, you experience exceptional times with your children, celebrations, milestones, graduations, their first car, job, girlfriend or boyfriend, marriage and the rest of their life. God gives us the courage, strength and his love to express love through all circumstances. "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." Proverbs 31:25. I hope you feel blessed, I know I do and look forward to sharing more of my thoughts with you. Be blessed. Joyously, Judith Stanton
