A New CommandmentIt is with a heavy heart, that I am writing this blog. Over the last couple of days, we have sustained great loss in America. How can we live and forgive the iniquities that have been made against us? Jesus said" So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other, just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples". John 13:34-35
Jesus loves everyone, that is why he came into this world, so you can be forgiven. We will never forget what has happened over the last couple of days, but in order to move into a future of hope, we must forgive as Jesus has forgiven us. Our leaders are put in place to protect and guide us against harm. Destruction will only continue to hurt and grow anger, it is not a solution. Leviticus 19:18 - You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the Lord. We are all sinners, and every person can be forgiven, but we need to mend together. "If you listen to constructive criticism, you will be at home among the wise. If you reject discipline, you only harm yourself; but if you listen to correction, you grow in understanding". Proverbs 15:31-32 The path that is level is the way of the righteous and the right path that leads to eternal life in Jesus Christ. Psalm 17:6 “ My steps have held fast to your paths; my feet have not slipped .” I am praying you and for our leaders, communities, families, friends. America continues to experience pain, and uncertainty in this world, but the hope of a better life to come through Jesus Christ. Sincerely, Judith Stanton Publisher - Senior Lifestyle Advantage
