I just wanted to reach out and wish all mother's a happy mother's day! One of the greatest joys in my life is being a mother to our three children. I have loved being a part of their lives. Watching them grow, wiping their tears, being their biggest fan, cooking favorite meals or praying for their challenges. Being a mother is so much special, and probably the most important role in life. We are role models, and mentors, we find solutions to problems, and listen with great care.
It was almost three years ago that my dad passed away. Since then my mom has been a "Super Hero", she has been there for all of our family, and managed to still run the farm, cook meals, take care of her daily errands, and herself. Most of all I know my mom is praying for us. An encouraging word, seems to make the day go better. Last weekend I went home to spend some time with my mom. I baked some chocolate chip cookies, and gave her a gift of flowers. She was so surprised and reminded me about the flower I gave her last year, a beautiful red flower that continues to bloom. I'm not sure what it is called, so mom if you send me a photo through an email and the description, I will be sure to post it. Some of the simplest things in life are the best. I want to wish all mom's a wonderful weekend and mother's day. Joyously, Judith Stanton
